RC Training

What we do is have those who come to the training in the morning, also come out on the water to run races. In the 1st race we have a few people on the signal boat with Charlotte Hicks, Kiki Barden and whoever else we have to go over what consists of being the signal boat and the finish boat (tasks, ect). We also have some people with Jack Gower setting marks (We will also talk about being a safety boat). As well as some people with another experience mark boat/safety personnel. And then each race we rotate those in the training to a different  RC boat so that they can do a little of every task. For the signal boat, we will use our 27′ Grady so that there is enough room for RC and extra people doing the training. 

-1030: Classroom (Room: TBD) Presentation about PRO, Scoring, Markboat, etc
-1130: Lunch provided by the club – TBD on what that will be
-1200: Head down to the RC Boats
-1215: Leave the docks
-1300: First warning for Sailors (3 races)

***This Race Committee Training is for anyone who has lots of experienced with Race Committee, for anyone who has help with Race Committee for maybe one season or for anyone who has never helped with Race Committee***
